Hospice Marinella – reliable care with license and responsibility

When the moment came to trust the professional, the hospice was extremely important. Unfortunately, in Bulgaria there are institutions that present themselves as hospices without having the necessary registration according to the Law on Medical Institutions. This does not only fail the relatives of the patients, but also puts at risk the health and dignity of the patients themselves.

Fake hospices are not subject to the control of the Ministry of Health, they do not have the right to carry out medical activities and often do not provide round-the-clock medical care, qualified personnel and the necessary conditions for palliative treatment. Hospice Marinella is a specialized professional medical institution, licensed under ch. 40 of the Law on medical facilities from the Regional Center for Health Care in Sofia and the Ministry of Health Care.

The hospice is located in the city of Sofia, Ovcha Kupel district, 34B Ljubljana St., with a beautiful presentation by Vitosha. At the hospice, patients receive 24-hour care and medical supervision.

What kind of patients does Hospice Marinella accept?

The elderly and sick people in post-stroke conditions, chronic diseases, after severe surgical interventions, cancer patients, people with injuries, etc. are accepted.

Hospice medical team

A team of a consultant physician, anesthesiologist-resuscitator, palliative care specialist, nurses, caregivers, a rehabilitator and a social worker take care of the needs of the residents. Each patient receives individual care and attention, and the staff strives to alleviate suffering as much as possible.

Hospice patient care

An individual rehabilitation program is drawn up for each patient upon admission to the hospital. If necessary, consultations with a specialist physician are held.

The hospice has 60 multi-functional beds. The atmosphere is cozy and modern, the rooms are equipped with all modern amenities. The food is healthy and dietary, tailored to the needs of the patients.
